Greetings
in Jesus’ name,
We
thank God for how far he has brought us as Edifire Ministries and Worldwide
Apostolic Church. I send out a big thank you to all our faithful partners in
the ministry who have continually supported us through prayer and giving. This
year 2016 God has given us a specific prophetic Word of the 5P’s.
1. Power
2. Prayer
3. Prosperity
4. Preaching
5. Proselytizing
Power:
God has given us delegated authority and power over sin, sickness, demons and
every obstacle.
Prayer:
through prayer we generate the power the God has promised especially through
praying in tongues.
Prosperity:
It is the will of God for all His children to prosper so that all their needs
are met and also so they can have more than enough to send out the gospel
through financial partnership.
Preaching:
this is the duty of every believer to go into all the World and preach the good
news to all creation. This is to be done through one on one evangelism,
crusades and various media.
Proselytizing:
God expects all the new converts and existing believers to be edified and built
up through discipleship. Proselytizing is the same as discipleship.
This year as Worldwide Apostolic
Church we have stepped out in fulfillment of the Great Commission left to us by
Jesus Christ. The entire church has been mobilized to step out and preach the
gospel through weekly evangelistic sessions. So far through these sessions, weekly
fellowship groups have been established in Landmark Hostel and Luxey Courts
hostel that cater to MUBS and other university students. In line with
discipleship, a weekly fellowship has been established in Uganda Technology and
Management University (UTAMU) in Kiswa. Apart from discipleship in residences,
we have also launched out into workplace evangelism starting out with the first
workplace fellowship that meets in Empire Group offices in Kitintale. We are
taking the Preaching and Proselytizing duty by storm just like Jesus described
it, “And from the days of John the Baptist until now
the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and THE VIOLENT TAKE IT BY FORCE” (Matthew
11:12).
We still need a hand
from our partners in regards to having effective open air evangelism. We have
identified a set of musical and sound equipment that can be able to meet our
needs. This equipment includes drums, electrical guitar, base guitar, keyboard,
amplifiers, mixer and assorted speakers. The equipment costs only 20,000,000
Uganda Shillings (US$ 5,800). God gave us favor with the owner of the equipment
and he is willing to give us the equipment on a hire purchase arrangement. This
means we can use the equipment after paying a deposit and then clear the
balance in monthly installments. We believe in excellence as a church to be
able to preach the gospel with only the best. The Lord laid it upon my heart
that we shall have 20 partners who would come forward to partner 1,000,000
Uganda Shillings (US$ 480) in the course of 1 year (with monthly partnership
over 12 months). As I meditated upon this issue the Lord gave me this
scripture:
1 Samuel 10:26-27 KJV
(26) And Saul also went home to Gibeah; and there
went with him a band of men, WHOSE HEARTS GOD HAD TOUCHED.
(27) But the children of Belial said, How shall
this man save us? And they despised him, and brought him no presents. But he
held his peace.
I believe that some
who will read this Partners Update will have their hearts touched by God and
will choose to be a part of what God is doing through this ministry. On the
other hand some may reject this offhand and may bring no presents. However it
is the faithful partners who will partake both of an earthly and heavenly
reward as they stand with a ministry that is called to expand the kingdom of our
Lord Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth. Will you be among those who despise
the obligation of Financial Partnership or among those who stand up to be
counted as those who sent out the gospel of Jesus Christ?

(15) And how shall they preach, EXCEPT THEY BE
SENT? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the
gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
